Hey Jereme,
You mention in your signature you're running BFG A/T's in 255/70's x 15.
I've only ever seen 75 series, and no wider than 235's without going to a
30" tire. Where and when did you get them? This is the size I would love
to get. Thanks,
Rich - Ashburn, VA

Subject: DML: V-Tech accuracy?

Hello All,
I have the V-Tech performance meter. I took it for a test run last night;
65 degrees, little humidity, after dark. I ran a best 16.11 @ 89.7 in the 4

trial runs. I know I can do better, and I found my ET's and trap speeds are

higher, when I upshift at 5200RPM thereabout. I would like to know what RPM

range is best to shift in, since I have no Chjristmas tree, and the V teach
needs a weight input. I used 4500# as a base, but I have no idea what my
Dak weighs. (96 DSCC 4x4 V8) That would change the ET's if the weight was
off, I know, so does anyone know what my Dak weighs? I also know I can do a

lot better than 16.11. In the 4 runs I tried *never drag raced in my life*

I improved about .400 sec. in my ET. Speed I most likely won't improve on
too much. I found power braking, or leaving the line over 1200RPM caused
massive wheelspin which killed the ET, but gave a higher trap speed.
I also used the horsepower measurement. I measured a best 231 RWHP in 3
tries. That is about right.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
