Mileage in the dumper!!!!!!!!!

Fellow DML'ers,

Help. I Changed the plugs in my 2000 4.7 to Autolite 5224's and the mileage,
which was already poor at 11.5, has become even worse. It is now in the 10.0
range. I gapped the plugs at .045 (stock .040). Bad Map sensor? If so how
to test? Curiously, the mileage at highway speeds is very respectable at
around 19.5+. Just seems to be city driving. WTF?
