Thanks Sam but...
I tried for a couple hours but couldn't get it to work. I finally gave it
up and traded it for the AirAid assembly which does work. This was a month
ago. Problem with AirAid is it's not Calif. legal and it doesn't provide a
heat shield. I still had to move the cruise control forward about three
inches but it works. Basically it uses a K&N filter with an AirAid pipe and
bracket. The filter seems to be forward enough to keep from breathing all
the hot exhaust manifold air.

Ronald, you can make the K&N Fit easily.

A minor mod, including a relocation of the cruise
assembly will make it work fine. I have had mine
on since Dec 99
