RE: Installing a new T-stat

Shouldn't be a problem with hand tools. Follow the upper radiator hose to
the engine block and you'll see two bolts. Those are the bolts that hold
the T'Stat housing. (Make sure you drain about 1 gallon out of the radiator
first otherwise it gets really messy. There a tab on the housing that is a
pain in the butt when it's time to reinstall. If you can, grind it down a
little bit so the housing slips back down easier. You can change it without
removing any of the brackets, A/C, or Alternator.

Subject: DML: Installing a new T-stat

First of all thanks for helping me locate a 180 degree t-stat for my
Durango. Now that I have it I need to install it. I haven't really looked
at the engine to see where the t-stat is located. Is there any problems
that may arise? I'm assuming that I can change it with simple hand tools.
