Picked it up. Was: it won't start.

Went to pick up the Dakota tonight. After the computer was replaced. It
still wouldn't start. The fuel relay and Autoshutdown weren't
functioning still. Further trouble shooting found serious corrosion on a
wire under the relay box in engine compartment. The wires had broken.
They supplied the 12v to both the fuel pump and autoshutdown relays. Fiz
that and it started. Runs better than it has for quite a while. Don't
know if it's all in my head or not but it seems to accelerate much
smoother and quicker. Used to lag between 1000 and 1500.

Still runs a litte low at idle. The mechanic says all the electronics
are working right. Says it may be that somebody unknowingly tried to
adjust the timeing by moving the distributor. Said it needs to be
"phased in" again. Anybody know what's involved?
