I installed my factory fender flares on my forest green truck today!! I paid
$218+tax for them from my local dealer.I ordered them yesterday afternoon
and I got them at 10:00 am this morning, not bad, huh?They were relatively
easy to put on.I only had one problem, and that was on the right(passenger)
front flare, I was peeling the 3M tape backing off as i the instructions
say, and the backing broke.So, I still have a section of about 1 1/2 inches
of the 3M tape that the backing is still on.It doesn't seem to affect the
flare as far as appearance goes, and it probably won't affect anything,
considering how much of the tape stuck.I personally think it made a big
difference in the way the truck looks.I'm interested to see if it helps keep
crap off the fenders of the truck.Do y'all that have already installed the
flares think it helped keep some of the junk off the sides? Will Coughlin
