After market sway bars for the front and rear are available from
www.hotchkis.net for about $500.00. They also sell front and rear springs
to improve the handling while at the same time will lower your truck. I
recently purchased a rear sway bar for my 98 CC V6 4x2. It is made by
Hellwig and cost $119.00 from JCWhitney. I have not installed it yet. I
will also be replacing the bushings and endlinks on the front stock sway bar
to polyurethane ones. I would have gone with the Hothckis kit but it is
just too expensive. Others on the list have installed the Hotchkis kit and
highly recommend it.

I need some info and advice. My Dakota came with a front sway bar (listed
as stabilizer bar?). Am I correct so far? What I would like to know is,
should I add/change to aftermarket bars? front and rear? What are the ride
differences? A lot stiffer? little? Costs?

Thanks all,
Ron
