DML,

Coincidently, my 97 just started making this "popping" sound. I figured it was the body
shifting around on the body spacers. Since I have a 3" body lift what could I do? Would tightening the
bolts help? What is the TSB & where can I look it up? If it is just the bushings, I'll buy them and
install them myself...If it is the bolts than I'm screwed because the body lift bolts are 3" longer.

What do you think Bernd....?

Two Words for the dealership: BULL SHIT!

My truck did it before and I have a lift kit installed. (Lowered or
Lifted...they make the sound regardless. If the lowering kit did it, why is
there a TSB out on the '97-99 trucks for this problem.)
