recharging the A/C on my dakota

Has anyone recharged the A/C on their Dakota? I need to know how much to recharge it with (i've heard 2 cans) and which line to use to recharge it. I see their is an inlet by the compressor and also one in the A/C line by the fender (by the main computer harness). Which one is the low pressure line? Any other help would be apprciated.
