Here's how: (You'll need a balancer puller though):

(1) Disconnect the battery
(2) Drain the radiator
(3) Remove the fan shroud and fan assembly (if applicable)
(4) Remove the A/C and Alternator bolts (just set the two aside...no need to
remove them from the truck)
(5) Remove the A/C and Alternator Bracket
(6) Remove the Harmonic Balancer (You'll need a puller for this)
(7) Remove the water pump (Be careful...two bolts on either side will leak
coolant from the engine block)
(8) Remove the two bolt attaching the bottom of the timing cover to the oil
pan and then remove the rest of the bolts from the timing cover (Should be
4)
(9) Use a rubber mallet and tap the timing cover to loosen the seal. Now
pull it forward and it should come off rather easily.

Putting it together is pretty much the reverse except the two bolts from the
oil pan to the timing cover should be installed first. (You need to be able
to line it up.)

Don't forget to change the oil after you put everything back together. No
matter how careful you are, something always falls into the oil. ;)
