Instead of the air hat just connect the tube to the TB. After seeing the
results from Matt finding on the guy who does the Z tube, they just connect
the tube directly to the throttle body from the filter.

Subject: DML: New Air Hat for Gen III

Anyone know of a good replacement air hat for the Gen III daks.
I already have the homebrew cold air intake all the way up to the
air hat (removing that damn rubber flex hose was a big help).

I am looking for an air hat that has a very small volume and very
smooth flow into the TB to maintain very high air velocity.
I have found that everything I do to imrpove air flow and velocity gives
me huge gains in throttle response and MPG.

Any of the supercharger air hats meet this criteria?

Ja
