Well the gf and I were heading up to her place tonight, rolling up to a red
light I see this 2nd(?) gen RX-7 with the tag "FASTCAT" in the left lane, so
I take the pole position on the right. So light goes green, I goose it off
the line and coast through the turn, so Mr. fastcat comes screamin up beside
me, so I put the hammer down. I hit 2nd while under the beltline overpass,
sounded like all hell breakin loose under there :-) He quickley started
loosing ground from there on... we wind up both on the pole at the next
light and looks over with his jaw dropped goin "what the *#$&*@ you got in
there????" I just laughed and said "not a whole lot", about that time the
light turned green and we both nail it, up to about 75 or so he's stuck in
my blind spot slowly loosing ground as I hear that lil rotary screamin like
a scalded dog =)
So all in all it was a good night, gf was laughin a lil bit harder than I
was over the event...
on a side note, I turned *choke* 5800rpm tonight when the tires broke
loose.. damn if it didn't sound mean, but I sure do NOT want to do that
again.. almost brung me to tears..
