I replaced the stock coil in my 1997 v8 with an Accel Super Coil. After
about 3 months, the coil failed and left me stranded in the rain (yes,
it was really raining the day I broke down). I wrote Accel and they sent
me a replacement coil. I've been running that coil for about 3 months
without any problems. After being standed once, I keep the factory coil
in the truck just in case.
