Just a slight technical correction... oil by the distributor would indicate
the rear gasket is blown, i.e. the older (pre-96) used cork end gaskets,
which are known for going out... oil on the bottom of the inside of the
manifold (viewed through the TB) would be a blown belly-pan gasket...
