The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Looking at your engine sitting in the
driver's seat #1 cyl is on left side of engine in front. All cyl on left
side are odd-numbered starting with #1 in front work toward the rear to #7.
Right side in front starts with #2 th #8 in the rear. On the distributor
starting with #1 position the order of wires goes clockwise from #1
following the firing order above.

Ok, at the risk of sounding like a total moron here I am gonna ask for
help on this. Me, being the genius that I am decided to take the cap
off of my distributor and silicone it to keep the water out (Been having
problems with it missing and dieing when I'm out 4 wheelin) so I marked
all the plug wires and then pulled'em all off, did the silicone thing,
replaced the cap, then when I went to put the wires back on and I
realized my problem. The marker I used on the wires didn't work very
well, and in pulling the wires off I effectively smudged all the marks.
So now I have no idea what went where. If anybody can help me out with
this I would appreciate it.
