'99 computer memory?

Anyone know if the computer on my '99 will "remember" where I peaked
certain things like my engine RPMs, and then send up a flag when the
mechanics put the scanner on? I pegged my tach at 5500 on Slippery Hil
Saturday and don't know what they'll say if the plug in and find that.
