Some people may beg to differ, however I noticed no increase in performance or MPG. When cleaning my
engine a little water got into my jet chip and left me stranded. (well I was at home...) Anyway
I had it towed it to a local shop and they jiggled the wires to the computer and it miraculously it started ???
Next day wouldn't start. Removed the jet chip and it started right up. I've had no problems ever since.
It is my understanding (through Bernd...) that they now inject silicon into the chip to keep moisture out and
supposedly fixed the "failing" problem. I didn't feel it was worth the trouble since I didn't see any increase
in anything.
