I really hope DC gets their stuff together, and stops messing around with
less than 300 hp "RT" trucks, If DC really steps up to the plate and makes a
truck that is even on the same page (HP wise) as the Lighting than I may
have to let the 4.7L go!! :), that is, if DC doesn't run the price up even
more and, it would have to be available with the almighty 5 spd, or a 6 spd.

I would expect the next Lightning running in the low 13 or high 12 with
slicks. But what I am hearing for the 2003 that this is nothing compare to
what is coming. I banking on DC will not let this stand too much longer and
actually build a real R/T with at least 353HP versus the 5HP more than the
stock. R/T and Lightning should be in the same league as being pure street
performance and number one fastest production truck in the world.

I forgot to mention that there was alot of street bikes at the track friday,
one guy had a brand new Kawasaki 1400 cc, this thing ran a 9.99 (1/4) @ 147
mph!!! WOW, I don't know much about bikes, but this bike was awesome!!
Also, there was a '99 Lighting with a computer upgrade, and some other mods
?? that ran a 13.96, with lots of wheel spin! the guy told me with traction
he runs 13.7's.
