There was also a Hemi built in K cars. It may be laughable, but still a
Hemi... It was a 6 cylinder, and even had a fender badge saying it was a
hemi. I can't remember the size or even if it was a V-6 or an inline or
slant or what... I think it came in like Dodge 600's and similar cars.

I thought it was the Design Chief from Chrysler, when asked about the return
of the HEMI motors (Charger R/T), that the 4.7 heads will be redesigned to
have that Hemi look in the next Charger.

No, the Hemi name had nothing to do with a big block, good example is the
first Hemi put out by Dodge in the early 50's, it was 241 Cubic inches.
Thats smaller than my 4.7L (287). here is a list of the first Hemi engines:
241 - 270 - 315 - 325 - DODGE HEMI's
276 - 291 - 330 - 341 - 345 - DESOTO's HEMI's
331 - 354 - 392 - CHRYSLER HEMI's

Yes, the 4.7 doesn't have the Hemi head, its just a nicely designed OHC V-8
with some neat looking heads that are more similar to a Hemi head, than a
traditional Polyspherical head.

i belived the hemi name refered to a big block not a
little 4.7 and i still see magnum badges on the 2000's
auto suppliers only order parts from there suppliers
less than a week ahead ( supply on demand ) so i don't
think there is so many of there v8 magnum badges out
there to last 1 year and the 4.7 don't have
Hemispherical heads so that would lead me to belive it
is not a hemi but a overhead cam V8
