Factory Alloys are generally priced very high for ALL makes and types. The
reason is when you have an accident and need to replace just ONE wheel,
they have you. So they are priced at say $400 a piece. Generally
insurance is footing the bill.

The R/T wheels have recently been added to the Mopar Accessories Catalog.
They are now marketing these wheels not merely as service replacement
parts, but as conversion sets. Now they are looking to sell 5 wheels to
people without R/T's. They geared up production and are NOW offering the
wheels at a dealer cost less than half of the old cost. Most dealers are
in now selling them in the $160-$180 range. Of course, since this is new
(last month or two) there is a backup of orders.

People on this list are no different than the population at large. They
make generalizations and assumptions. But things change. In the Mopar
world they change alot.
