drop shocks lifted me

Hey I dropped my dak 2 inches in front and back. I
installed the doestch tech 2 inch drop shocks on the
rear so far and I was surprised that they raised the
rear end up 5/8". Is this normal? Is it because they
are a firmer shock and resist less?
