Hey! Nifty! Yours too, huh? First of all,I believe most all late model
3.9 Daks,or maybe all 3.9 engines in general,have lumpy,erratic
idle.Mine has 8200 miles and does the following: Start it up,truck idles
at about 1000 or so for a few seconds, then drops to about 750-800,which
is probably normal. It idles fine with no fluctuation for about 15-20
seconds.THEN,Looper...THEN...it starts to fluctuate.It speeds up a
little, maybe up near 1000 rpm, idles there for two seconds, then sloooows
back down to about 500 rpm and gets kinda rough for two seconds, then
baaack up to 1000.It just cycles back and forth.Almost always does this
when cold, sometimes when fully warm and sitting in "park".Sound like
yours? Does your truck run good all the time,or run really crappy at
times? Just curious.Steve P. 99 Dak Sport V6 4x4 RC IB auto 3.92
