Find the SOFTEST RUBBER COMPOUND TIRE you can get. The softer rubber burns
up better. also another little trick is to put washing bleach on the treads
of the tires, however some tracks don't allow this because of the CAUSTIC
SMELLS. Just make sure with the soft rubber that there is plenty of water to
get the spin going and don't go past second gear with either an auto or
manual tranny. This way you can keep up the RPMs. An automatic can go up 90
MPH easily in second gear. Another trick is to adjust the rear brakes(drum
type) by turning the star adjustment wheel all the way down to release the
brake pads from the friction of the drum. This way when you step on the
brake pedal it will hold the truck in place and not totally burn up the rear
drums. Of course a brake line-lock for the front brakes is the best.
