Hellwig 7/8 inch sway bar....installed it last night. Get the 3/4 inch
version if you got the 2wd. I thought the 2wd version and the 4wd version
couldn't be too different, so I opted for the larger 7/8 inch model. What a
mistake!! I had to re-engineer the entire friggin thing to get it to fit. So
instead of it being "bolted on" I had to flip it upside down and backwards,
and drill it directly into the frame rails. Gas tank was a bitch to get
around, but it looks cool as hell with the end links visible from the
side-view of the truck. Looks like I have some trick rear suspension.
Performance?? It feels more level through the long turns like onramps,
but the jerk movements it feels like there's just as much bodyroll as before.
Hopefully this reduction in bodyroll will save the outside of my front tires,
but only time wil tell.
