I have Smitty-Bilt bars on mine...they are welded to the cab and
I have taken some pretty good hits on them when going over large
rocks, especially before doing the body lift. I also have used
them and my Hi-Lift to jack the truck up with.
I am thinking about changing to some home made 2x4 units hooked
to the frame.
