On the 3.9L,

Don't cut more than 1 1/2" from the intake plenum divider. You'll loose
some serious bottom end on the V6. I cut mine and also cleaned up the
insides of the runners, radiused the runner ports, removed most of the
casting flash inside the plenum, and radiused the injector ports.
(Yeah...and bead blasted it to boot just for looks.) I'm also running the
19# Ford Motorsport Injectors and the only thing that's changed is from
2800rpm on up, it pulls HARD. :)
