I have Westin bars with a built in step, they're bolted to the frame,
sandwiched between the frame and body mounts. They're solid as hell,
I've knocked them several times (time for the Line-X treatment), not
only that but I stand on them all the time and I tip the scales at 230,
give or take a few. The pair ran me $160 and installed in about half an
hour.
