Try a LOT. I upped my mileage close to 3 MPG on a run a few weeks ago
(compared to the same run made 6 weeks earlier) on the highway by
dropping from 70-75 to 65 and changing from whatever gas I could find to
exclusively Mobil. I pulled nearly 18 MPG on a 4x4 318 slushbox whose
only engine mods are a QuickD intake and a removed rubber baffle on the
right side of the radiator.
