One thing you can do is this. Figure out which way the wheel is off
center. Then look at the steering to determine which side needs to be
shortened, which lengthened. Get under the truck, loosen both jam nuts for
the steering tie rod ends. Turn one tie rod in a 1/4 turn, the other out 1/4
turn. Tighten jam nuts and test drive. Do this untiil the wheel is
straight. It may take less then 1/4 turn. When you get close go 1/8 or even
1/16 turns. Believe it or not I learned this from a Mazda Factory service
bulletin!
