Not to be rude but what was done to this transfer case!?!? this is the
same case that is behind almost every mid and fullsize 4x4 vehicle out there,
i have never heard of a properly maintainded np-231 or 24 series t-case
exploding except under extreme abuse and/or conditions such as HP and huge
tires, but you might want to look at junkyards first or some place like
4wheel parts wholesalers for a rebuilt one- these should be easy to find
because they are also a "JEEP" case- hope this helps
