I have the same messy problem-ordered an oil pan petcock from Summit,
$19.95 I think. It's got a place to attach a hose that will fit thru
the hole in the skid plate to drain the oil. Haven't hooked it up yet,
maybe this weekend.
Anyway, watching with interest re the filter relocation responses ie, is
it ok to mount the filter above the oil pan?
