I posted my reply. It is below if you care. Those 2 are idiots!!

AS an owner of a 99 Dakota R/T for 4 months and 4000 miles I am EXTREMELY
happy and have turned down actual offers from many passerby to actually buy
the truck. A little history first. I bough this truck in March with a
little over 26k miles for 15,400 plus TL. I have found the ride, while
rougher than my 93 T-Bird (duh!) to be totally acceptable, it is a truack
afterall. It actually rides better than the new Toyota Tundra and many cars
I have driven. The handling is outstanding and hardly ever wants to let
lose, even taking a curve at triple digit speeds. The power is excellent
also. The low end torque really does it job at geting the beast moving.
Room: I m 6'1 amd 230 pounds and have no problem with the regular cab
setup. Finally, I have not came across a man or woman who does not like
this truck. FRom my 10 year old cousin, to my mother. To my friends, to
people on the street. Anyone, no mater what sex, that rides in the RT loves
it. I find the interior quite handsome, and everything falls right into
your hand. Finally, my R/T has manual locks and windows, and that does not
bother me one damn bit. I still get to enjoy the excellent cassete/CD sound
system, Ice cold AC, and power mirrors. That's all I want and all I need.
As for the Lightning comparison, it should be faster with a better ride. It
has a supercharger. It is a fullsize truck that is 700 pounds heavier (the
more weight, the better the ride). Additionally, not everyone has 10,000
lying around, and even if I did, I would still go for the DAkota R/T.
