no there is no difference between catback systems and
just changing a muffler. the only difference is that a
cat back comes complete with tail pipes and nessecery
hardware to install it. i would just go with changing
the muffler and a turn down. that's what i did with
mine. i put a 3" borla XR1 single chamber 12" muffler
with a turn down.it pulls a lot harder on top end than
it did with a flowmaster two chamber muffler i had
before.
