I have dropped the tank 3 times now on my Dak. One time with 15 gallons in
it and another with about 5 in it. I would never think about removing the
bed to put a fuel pump, as it only takes 15 minutes max to drop the tank. If
there is alot of gas in the tank, just be sure to put a floor jack under the
tank and have another person there to help you out with getting the tank
down. Trust me, just take the tank down and leave the bed where it is.
