From the description it is the American Racing "chrome nugget" with an offset. The rim width of 15x7 verses
15x6 is to fit a wider tire so it won't break the bead (seal) around the rim. The tire sticks out more probably
because the rim is offset/backspacing is different. I know Ultra makes a lot of the same rims American Racing does,
but will fit the Dakota bolt pattern. Check em out...

When I bought my truck(used with 13,000 miles on it), one of the agreements
was that the dealer would throw in the bed a rim, for the spare. It came
brand new in a box, but unfortunately I was too eager to get a tire mounted
on it, and didnt keep the info on the box. Well they did, and I am just
curious what type it is. I am fairly certain it is not a factory rim, but
rather an aftermarket rim. I have only really had to use the spare once, but
I liked the way it looked and how it stuck out farther from the wheel
wells/fender wells than the stock rims. Could this be the fact that it is a
15x7 rim compared to a 15x6 rim? Or maybe the backspacing is different? My
stock 15x6s have a backspacing of 5 1/8", so a smaller backspacing with a 1"
wider rim would cause the tire/rim to stick farther out, correct?

-32" max tire diameter
-Has 10 large circle cutouts around the rim
-Manufactured in 1994, same year I bought my Dak

Is this an American Racing rim? The "Chrome Nugget" rim and "Baja" rim does
have the smaller circles, not the 10 my rims does, but the online catalog
shows that these rims are not avail. with my Dak's bolt pattern. Does anyone
know what the backspacing is for this rim, or even what is may be?????
