When Chrysler had their cars in SoCal delivered to a
yard in Santa Fe Springs, they used to have an annual
get together. I'm not to sure who put it on. The
couple of times I attended (early, possibly mid 80's),
we were taken on a tour of the shop where Shelbys were
development for Chrysler...one mini-van load at a
time..no cameras. There is where I got my first
glimpse of a Omni GLH....
I wouldn't be surprised if they allowed a small
organized tour of the facility.
