Generally, you want to keep your brake fluid as cool as practical; it breaks
down with heat so doesn't remain as effective. More importantly, you definitely
don't want the lines to melt. If a hole forms you will lose your rear brake
pressure, and then you will have more 'anti-lock' than you could ever imagine.
