Well, I feel they had better rethink it before someone gets hurt and blames
it on the fact that the front wheels aren't helping out the rear wheels to
stop. Not only that but you can't add the front wheel ABS once you buy the
vehicle. It has to be installed at the factory. It doesn't matter whether
its DC or NHTSA. It's crap!

Actually it was the NHTSA that mandated way back in the late 80's that all
pickups be equipped with rear antilock brakes. If it wasn't for that, then
thats exactly what you would have, no ABS, or optional 4 wheel ABS.

I sent a note to DC asking about the ABS brakes for the rear. Whoever
thought of optional ABS for the front? What kind of money-making scheme was
that? To be Depressed or Not to be Pressed that is the question. I asked
DC if it wouldn't have been safer and make just as much money to either
offer 4-wheel ABS or not at all. I also told them 1,000 Dak owners were
awaiting their reply. Funny thing, it usually only takes one day for DC to
answer me. It's been four days already. I can hear them now....."Anybody
want to tell me how to answer this?"
hehehehe Let 'em squirm!
