Mine has done it since day one. The only way I reduced the popping noise
was with headers and cranking down on the header bolts. Remember, the
factory exhaust manifold don't have any gaskets on them.

This is probably something I should know but, why does my DAK's exhaust pop?
I have "removed" the cat so the exhaust flows pretty smoothly through a 2
1/4" Flowmaster 2 chamber muffler. The popping was happenig before I removed
the cat..mostly when I'm slowing down..letting the engine slow it down..from
3000 down...
Everyone I've asked says all Daks do this....
