I will tell you otherwise...I actually use my truck as nice as it is.
I have a Line-X. I've hauled refrigerators, washing machines, over a ton of rock & sand.
Used a flat metal shovel for dirt & stone. Not even a ding! Heavy items really don't
move either unless you drive really carelessly. (Remember a body in motion tends to stay
in motion) If you are worried about large objects sliding around get a set of tie downs.
On the other hand I've had something as small as a receiver hitch in the bed and it didn't move.

The rubber mat is the best choice except that it doesn't cover the
sidewalls and wheel wells...........
Well, actually, you can now order the mats for the wheel wells through
JCWhitney. They go over the wheel well and tuck under the floor mat. Just
another option.
