Subject: DML: Dak Involved In Durango Event
Any of you that's in the Durango Club know what's going on right now.
Well, I'm proud to say that a DML'er had his share of the spotlight
today, as in me!! I was involved in transporting the plaque from the
start in Pismo Beach (Grrr, got stuck who knows how many times, I guess
it's time for new tires and locker!!). I took it in Oxnard and ran with
it to Sunland, which was 51 miles (I averaged 23 mpg on the trip
back!!). I'm, errr, the DML is gonna be a part of history!! As far as I
know, I'm the only Dak in the DRAGA (Durangos Rally Across Greater
America).
