If you have any old PC power supplies laying around, they almost always use a
12v muffin fan that would be ideal. Just open it up (usually several
screws), unmount the fan, and cut the wires. There are some old rare ones
that use 115ac in pwr sup to power 115ac fans (and maybe others I'm not aware
of) but if the wires to the fan are a tiny (kite string diameter) red and a
matching black wire its 12v. The voltage reqs should be clearly visible on
the fan itself also, but you may have to get it completely out of the chassis
to read it. I scavenge old 150W pwr sups all the time for caps and fans.
