It can be done..............but, you will have to pull out the inner fender
wells, and have a set of custom headers made. The engine engine bay is big
enough that a 440 will physically fit though.
But, if you do the 440ci, you will never again have traction again. You
would be better off to hav a 360ci bored and stroked to a 406ci (or 383ci)
with Mopar or Edelbrock aluminum heads, a lightweight fiberglass hood and
bumper, and a battery relocation to the bed. Oops, I just gave away my
personal plans for a street stomper.
