Yep, thats how all LEV (mid-atlantic, northeast, and Cali.) trucks are. Mine
is like that also, its a 2000. Yea, the headers will have to be the "shorty"
style.

I just realized that on the 2001 4.7 the only thing ahead of the catS is
the exhaust manifold. This turkey has 3 (three) cats. 2 bolt to the exhaust
manifold and are part of "Y" pipe the third one at the end of the "Y" going
into the muffler. Headers would have to be damn short, like 3 inches.
