I saw someone sudgest to use as an oil cooler. Befor you do that think about this.... In every catalog I have seen they say DO NOT USE TRANNY COOLERS AS A ENG. OIL COOLER. Why Im not sure. Might be the amount of flow or pressure limits? Just my 2cents.

<< OK my radiator blew up this past weekend and yesterday I replaced it with a
brand new unit. Here's my question. On the very bottom of the radiator
there's two connectors where it looks like hoses should hook into it, each
about 3/8th's diameter. I ran water through it to see if it ran through the
main portion of tha radiator but it's not connected to the antifreeze in any
way. What is this used for?? I thought perhaps for A/C (which I do not have).
I can't seem to figure out what portion of the radiator it uses, and if it
does at all. I figured I could put it to use a an engine oil radiator if
there's enough surface area.

Anyone know??
