you know, I read thru the posts and they sound alot like some of the ones I
see here too. Everyone has something that is better than someone else! I
am not trying to start any s#@t, but it is true. But that is fine, everyone
has there one "thing". I personally love hearing about Dodges wipping up on
Chebby's myself. I hate Chebby trucks!!! I love Fords.I am personally
looking for a used 00 silver ligtning for my wife now. She rode in my buds
and loved it and wouldn't quit talkin about it =) I have to agree, most
of the R/T's in this area, at least the ones I have seen, are driven by high
school punks! It makes me sick to my stomach everytime I see one. I work
40-60 hours a week to pay rent and a truck note. Then, you see some 16yrold
drive up in a brand new one acting a fool makeing us all look bad! And you
know he isn't paying for it!!! Or even working.. just driving his truck
around on his dad's gas money. If he does work, he spends all his money on
the stereo! (sorry for the rant, but it pisses me off!)
I reallllllllllllly wanted to get an R/T back in 98 and then again when the
White ones came out, but just couldn't afford one. So I got the next best
thing. Now, I am glad I got a 5.2. I have been averaged 15-17mpg in town
and 20-23 (24drafting) on the interstate. Wife's ram 360 has never gotten
better than 16-18 on the interstate and we average almost 20k a year on EACH
truck, so gas mileage is important. Of course my buds lightning only gets
like 12 =(
Alright, I have blabbed on enuf.. hope I don't piss anyone off. Just my
personal opinion.
PS. I still would love to have an RT!!!
