Go to a local Pepboys or someone that does AUTOMATIC tune-up (new tranny
filter, fluid etc..) and you will find out what is the problem from the
shop.

Subject: DML: Grinding noise.....
Argh, 40,000 miles, warrenty is over, and I'm getting a
grinding noise that sounds like the sound brakes make if you
barely slip them.
It sounds in gear, at full stop, or accerlateing, coasting
does not make the sound.
Any ideas? I'm thinking transmission bands, if they ever get into a
bind?
