I've installed the Western Chassis rear shackle hangers
for a 2" drop and yes you'll want to grind or drill out
the center of the rivets then chisel them off. It took
me a day and a half to do it. 2.5" sounds about right to
make it level. I ended up taking a leaf off from each
side for an extra 1" drop. I've gotten some good comments
from passengers on how smooth the truck rides.
