Just insert the bare wire into the terminals. That's all I did and it works
fine. I don't understand why you are having such a hard time with this. If
you are using the number 4 and the number 3 terminals you should have no
problem.

    This is how the layout of the terminals is, you want to use the one in
the middle on top, that is number 4, and the bottom one, that is number 3.
Just insert the wire into the fuse panel where the relay would plug in and
your all set.
