Yep, a 5 speed 4.7 is ON AVERAGE as fast or faster. It doesn't cost A LOT
less though. :-) Both are under 20k is certain configurations. However, if
you want to make your 4.7 faster, your out of luck for the time being, there
is a very, very small aftermarket for it compared to the 5.9 R/Ts HUGE
aftermarket. But the 4.7 is a very quick truck and you'd love it I'm sure.
